There is a NEW Search Engine in Town......................

There is a new search engine, Elephind.com, which was created to “search the world’s historical newspaper archives.” It encompasses free online newspaper collections. Currently, the coverage includes newspaper collections from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States.

You can help expand this collection by e-mailing Elephind.com with any other appropriate free online historic newspaper collections you know, contact .  Since it is a work in progress, do check back often and you can also subscribe to its mailing list
