Billie Helms  -  join us and see what this is all about......... Is this for you?
Are you interested in teaming up with someone else that uses Legacy? After all there are safety in numbers OR  two heads are better than one theory. I think it would be great to work with someone else or in a small group. This is meant to be a self-teaching self-learning situation. Learning from each other. Mentoring and getting the beginners off to a good start. Learn from each other. This session is set for 3 hours to give you a chance to actually work on something, to learn something and practice, to watch Legacy videos and then practice before leaving. We will also incorporate the use of the Flip Pal for those that want to learn more about it and to use it more successfully.

This first meeting will be an organizational meeting, so come with thoughts of what you want to learn, what you want to do, what you are comfortable with to help others.

Social time from 6:15pm to 7pm
"The Records Behind the World War I Draft Registration Cards: Can
They Help Your Research?" With Susan Goss Johnston

The 1973 fire in the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, Missouri, destroyed 75-80% of the World War I Army personnel records. Reconstructing the military service of these soldiers is very difficult. Ia is possible that these seldom-used records might furnish clues to aid in that reconstruction?
