NGS - END and coming home

A great experience, who knew that learning about your family tree and how to
find those pesky missing ancestors could be so much fun. But, it was. I have alot of new resources and am ready to try to get something new done on my German limb.

Today was no different than the rest of the days except it is the last day .......  full of learning experiences. CLASSES: "Railroad Men and the Records They Left Behind"; "Immigrant Ancestors: Finding Ohio Ancestors"; "Ohio or Bust: Migration to the Buckeye State"; "Luncheon"; "Success Story: Finding a European Village of Origin". AND to finish off the day... National Genealogical Society Annual Meeting with Annual Financial Reports, Voting and Installing a new board (sound familiar?) thank you's to all that helped with the conference and other projects throughout this past year. Looks like the conference was a success - 2158 attendees over the past 4 days.

Dinner with Kim Von Aspern Parker (your new secretary), some girl talk, print off my boarding pass for flight home tomorrow and off to my room to start gathering things in and packing.

See you all soon. It will be good to be home.
