Wishful Wednesday - More Member Stories

Editor's note: Today's post was written by Denise Hibsch Richmond.

Root Cellar Sacramento Genealogical Society celebrated its 2nd blogiversary on Monday, April 29, 2013.  Well,  the Society's blog celebrated two years of being part of www.GeneaBloggers.com.  Three members brought the blog to its toddler year. A fourth member recently joined the team.  Writing is managed on a weekly, rotational schedule.

The writers had help - from other Society members.  (Secret - the writers jump for joy when a member submits a family history story, photo or other image for the blog.)  Some articles are short, just a photo with names and dates, such as a tombstone.  Others are of some length providing a bit more detail about an ancestor.  Frequently, a GeneaBloggers blogging prompt helped focus the story like Surname Saturday and Mystery Monday.  Let's take a stroll down memory lane and revisit several member blog contributions.

Sunday Supper - Purple Turkey

Sentimental Sunday - Happy Father's Day

Black Sheep Sunday - Joan Beaufort

March Madness Monday - Final 4 Ancestors

Mystery Monday - Samuel E. Ford

Tombstone Tuesday - Smith and Shutzbaugh

Tombstone Tuesday - John McLearie, Sr.

Tombstone Tuesday  [Edwin W. Towle]

Wordless Wednesday - Christmas Memories

Holcomb Family Genealogy Challenges - Those Places Thursday

Surname Saturday - Thomas and Dollings
